On-Call Temporary Worker Pool

Description

This is an on-call employee pool with no guarantee of work.  Jobs will be assigned based on experience, and as first-come, first-served.  Jobs will be available April-October.

Job Duties (may include)

• Assist with mobilization and demobilization of remote field camps
• Assist with sampling efforts during periods of increased run strength and crew fatigue
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment and supplies
• Assist with transportation of supplies to remote field stations
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of storage facilities
• Construction activities

Requirements/Qualifications

• 18 or older (required)
• Ability to work long hours in harsh outdoor conditions (required)
• Strength and endurance, and ability to lift and haul heavy objects (required)
• Mechanical experience (preferred)
• Boating experience (preferred)
• Construction experience (preferred)
• Fishing experience (preferred)
• Electrical experience (preferred)
• Fisheries Science field experience (preferred)
• NVE Tribal Member (preference given for assignments)

Compensation

$12/hour. 
Meals and accommodation will be provided as needed when in the field.
